He was born in Nikšić on September 26, 1957. He attended and finished primary and secondary school in Nikšić and Podgorica (then Titograd), where he graduated in 1976.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 1982
In the study year 1986/87, I enrolled in a specialization in urology and I am doing the specialist program in Podgorica and Belgrade. He passed the specialist exam at the Urology and Nephrology Clinic of the KCS, Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade on February 26, 1991 and earned the title of specialist in urology.
He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Medicine, University of “Kiril i Metodi” in Skopje with the topic “Total androgen blockade and monohormonal therapy in the treatment of invasive prostate cancer – hormonal treatment strategy”, in 2005.
He was the Head of the Urological Department of the Clinic for Urology and Nephrology of the Clinical Center of Montenegro from 2000 to 2004.
From 2004 to 2012, he was the director of the Clinic for Urology and Nephrology of the KCCG.
After 30 years of working in public health, he became part of the management of the first private hospital in Montenegro, founded and took over the management of the Urology Center of the “Codra” Hospital.
He is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro, Department of Surgery, Department of Urology.
He has been a member of the European Association of Urology (EAU) since 1977, one of the two most renowned urological associations in the world and certainly the largest and most important medical association in Europe, and I am a member of the Board of the European Association of Urology (EAU) for Southeast Europe.
He published a large number of papers in international and regional journals and presented them at the most important urological congresses in the region and Europe.
For many years, he was the secretary of the Association of Urologists of Serbia and Montenegro, and now he is the President of the Association of Urologists of Montenegro.
