Urology specialist
He is the head of the Department of Urology at the Slovenj Gradec General Hospital in Slovenia, which for 40 years has taken a recognizable place in the introduction of modern operative techniques of minimally invasive surgery in urology in that part of Europe, and since 1990 has represented one of the leading centers for urological laparoscopic surgery in Slovenia and the wider region.

• Member of the pioneering team that introduced the laparoscopic technique in Slovenian surgery and urology in the early nineties, and for more than 20 years he has been helping the development of laparoscopy in various countries of Southeast Europe with his knowledge and experience.

• Chief mentor for specialization in urology at the Medical Chamber of Slovenia (since 2008)
